Dance Marathon
The Dance Marathon Program that is offered through Non-Traditional Media is a four hour program that usually is run on a Friday after school from 6:00 PM to10:00 PM. The event can run longer; but only extend the hours if your absolutely confident that you’ll have participants and that you are committed to work for a longer time.
It should be understood that this program is designed for the ENTIRE community and not just the high school. We define the community as including the following groups of people:
• High School Students
• Middle School Students
• Elementary School Students
• Faculty/Administrators/School Board
• Alumni
• Parents
• Local Businesses/ Organizations
• Residents in the Community
By involving the entire community, you’ll increase the excitement and profit and greatly improve your chapter’s image. It will also serve as an incredible way to increase membership.
Money is generated through dancer pledges, sponsorship, concession stands and raffles.
